First pass at a new build after pulling Jared Carthalion in a pack.  This is also going to be my best attempt at a multi-color build that doesn't have blue in it!

When it's optimized, I'll want the deck to operate in three acts.  

Act I - The Benelovent Heir.  Start by giving everyone an opportunity to gain favor.  Flumph is good for this especially if drawn early.  When Jared enters, I'm going to lean towards giving the monarch to the player that seems to be struggling the most.

Act II - The Ruthless Heir.  If my opponents forget who it was that was giving them benefits, I will strip them of their favor.  There are 12 other cards that will gain the monarch right back, and they will be critical in changing gears as needed.

Act III - The True Heir.  Late game, the crown is for keeps.  Hopefully all of the court enchantments are in play to keep removing threats and adding my own.  If Jared is the monarch, the goal is to use one of the damage-based board clears to grow in power.  There are several other pieces of equipment to use for keeping Jared stocked.  

Sub-game: the goal is to add all 5 of the "Ring" cards from Magic 2013 (two of which were re-printed).  The achievement will be to defeat at least one of my opponents with all 5 rings attached, plus a legendary equipment.  You can even go further if you want to transform Jared into a Warrior Knight (add in some body armor and greaves).

Jared has three trusty familiars at his side for protection (Anara), growth (Keleth), and retribution (Kediss).  

Update 9/12: after some successful pulls from packs, Jared has undergone it's first upgrade.  Kaldra Compleat is an achievement by itself.  Added Forging the Tyrite Sword, plus a few other equipment to search it out.  Missing just two rings from M13 to add.  Added a Loyal Unicorn and Apprentice to support the commander.  Added Lightning Greaves over Swiftfoot Boots (this is debatable, but Jared probably won't be targeted as much with your own cards, so Greaves may work a bit better).  Testing out Divine Gambit for garnering favor in Act I.
