Deck two, white-keyword soup with an Angel tribal stock. I'll be honest White is my least favorite color in magic. Odric is probably one of the most interesting commanders for mono-white. Divine Visitation on the maybeboard to eventually get so that Bishop of Wings needs to be answered. The deck's curve typically guarantees a smooth game with the average hand. Boardwipes are a maybe as they tend to hurt your board more than others unless you have indestructible which in testing was questionable but with a bit of tweaking of the deck could be made oppressive and consistent.
Game plan:
Acquire key words from cards like Serra the Benevolent's -3 to give your creatures aggressive keywords every combat. Which is something everyone I've played with this deck tends to forget is that Odric, Lunarch Marshall's ability triggers on every combat so once you play a creature with Vigilance you'll be able to swing aggressively against the battlecruiser decks that are still trying to build their boardstate. In a cutthroat game you can bring a combo/value deck low before they get fully online. Bond of Discipline can be a decisive finisher in standstill board state.
Pros:
-Removal, mono-white has an open shell to pack tons of spot removal from exiling creatures, artifacts and/or enchantments.
-Resilience, the deck includes cards like Brought Back and Twilight Shepard to make sure an opponents board wipe doesn't blow you out completely.
-Combat, your creatures will typically have the advantage in combat with all the keywords and anthems in the deck.
Cons:
-Draws, no secret that white has bad draw engines, so unless you hit Skullclamp with a more token skewed build Mentor of the Meek would help too, but just not in this build.
-Stack Interaction, also as white don't expect that you'll be able to stop a spell storm, though The Wanderer will slow that plan down if its on the board.
This deck will definitely be on the follow-up list to refine and tune after testing with the other 32 decks. See you in the next one.
