This list features a heavy lean on ramp and land etb effects to create powerful board states. Most cards are very efficient with the exception of several ramp cards such as Roiling Rebirth and Verdant Mastery. These ramp cards create spicy value when used alongside cards like Felidar Retreat and Scute Swarm.
Yasharn is more like a consistancy card than a powerful commander like Xanathar or Koma. Often their ETB is draw two cards and the tertiary effect mostly affects treasure and investigate tokens. But Katilda leans more towards tribal and humans can be underwhelming most games. Trelesarra is combo heavy like landfall and goes far into later game with absurd life totals.I found that landfall was more consistant, turning land into value as opposed to needing spells or etb effects, making every top deck another chance for victory.
Because this deck has so many cards that can by themselves generate value, it's best to play your hand out and play Yasharn to keep playing lands on curve. Sort of like a tempo deck but when it hits combinations the payouts can be explosive. Arcane Signet is left out for more ramp. Less lands in the deck means your more likely to hit playable cards.
Playing against a black deck with alot of board wipes is tough but this deck can get through with bits of damage and hard to remove noncreatures. Flying is a bit of an issue for this list. Kaya is a very difficult matchup most games but not unwinable
