Hello and welcome to another kick of Izzet Prowess. I most definitely have a problem at this point.

Well, spell slinging is fun. And when your creatures benefit from said slinging and swing for a ton of damage, it's even more fun! This deck is bringing together 2 archtypes we've seen before, Prowess and being a Phoenix deck. [[Arclight Phoenix]] returns and a hastey 3/2 threat that jumps into combat from the graveyard if you're vast 3 or more spells each first main phase. These spells place counters on our [[Sprite Dragon]] and tirgger prowess on [[Stormwing Entity]]. Createing a rather vicious flying field of creatures. [[Brazen Borrower]] is here for the utility it creates wiht it's adventure Petty Theft as well as being a 3/1 flying body. [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] is here as a 2 of. It combos well with the spells we are casing, cards we are drawing as extra damage and a 5/5 flying body is nothing to scoff at.

Spells, we got those. [[Opt]] is here because we have blue and blue should always have this cantrip. [[Shock]] and [[Lightning Strike]] are two ofs. Cheap decent creature removal or extra damage. [[Chart a Course]] is here for card draw and discard to drop the Phoenix to the yard and [[Thrill of Possibilty]] works in a similar way. Looting effects are great in our deck combine with the prowes, the counters on the Sprite, the text on Niv, and looitng away any Phoenix we might draw. [[Frantic Inventory]] remains from the standard iteration as as it gets to be a lot of cards nad works with everything we are doing. We have a two of [[Expansion]] to copy spells as need arises or a large burn spell later with Niv.

Lands, we have a few more options here for us. We have the addition of [[Sulfur Falls]] as another duel source of mana. [[Mystic Sanctuary]] to help return instants and sorceries for draw that we might want.

The sideboard is once again answers like most tend to be. Two more [[Brazen Borrower]] if the need arises to be more combo or general disruption with a 3/1 flying body attached.  [[Disdainful Stroke]] to disrupt large spells along with [[Mystical Dispute]] to fight against blue spells, and [[Spell Pierce]] for early disruption as well. [[Flame Sweep]] is still our best option for sweeper as our creatures dodge it. [[Soul Sear]] is our sideboard removal for larger threats. Finally [[Tormod's Crypt]] is here to deal with annoying graveyards and a free spell to trigger our prowess and prowess like creature.
