This is the first deck I've actually been able to play yidaro down consistently and also twice in two games! The matches have been fun though it took me a while to work out this version (and losing rank in the process), which finally started doing better. I haven't tested it against dimir rogues or dimir mill. There's a lot of discard and draw so i think the mill matchup is unfavourable. I would say its probably weak to gruul as well, and so may not be strong against the best of the meta. Edit: its a bit too slow vs gruul and I think yidaro would be better alongside proper board wipes. It doesn't seem strong enough or fast enough on the mythic ladder though I had a few good matches.
The wall is useful to buy you time to setup defenses, and thundering rebuke is needed for the dangerous 4 health (red or green) minions. Teferi's ageless insight is very strong if it sticks on board.
Im not sure how to classify this I guess its kind of like a control deck, with drawing your second card gives benefits.
I like to play on curve so left out the scry lands but they are useful if they dont hurt the curve.
