Commander - Yedora, ad Infinitum (budget; ~$120)

*** Note to Self - Swap out Natural Affinityimage for Nervous Gardenerimage.  Add Meekstoneimage...?

Yedora is too easy to build a budget deck around, albeit more expensive upgrades can/will help, but most upgrades are rather unneeded for the deck to be very effective.  Most of the cards with the highest synergy with Yedora are simply cheap to purchase, and being a mono-green deck (no need for duals) that needs a lot of basic Forests to ramp into play, the land base is likewise pretty cheap to work with.

You probably already know how Yedora prospers, but if not, here's a quick rundown on the infinite shenanigans at hand.  The key to all the infinite combos is having a reusable free/1cc sac outlet, where sacrificed creatures come back as a face-down Forest.  There is a range of cards that turns lands/Forests into creatures (like Living Landsimage), whereby you can sacrifice them as creatures and Yedora brings them right back.  BUT, it should be noted that if you can't give them haste (which this current budget build does not do), they can't tap for mana when they come back, which matters with some related combo cards in the deck, specifically Spawning Pitimage, Skullclampimage and Evolutionary Leapimage, which are similarly both sac outlets and wincons (Evolutionary Leap and Skullclamp will draw you into a true wincon piece, such as Baru, Fist of Krosaimage or Caller of the Clawimage).  Also, if your lands stay creatures into other players' turns, a creature wipe removes your lands if they aren't indestructible, but Yedora has to be removed beforehand (which makes Thelonite Druidimage's temporary change a handy option, or Jolrael, Empress of Beastsimage, who can target any player's lands, making a board wipe less ideal for... whoever thinks they should cast one... however these two do not allow for infinite sacrifices, as the new Forests will not be affected by their effects and made into creatures again).

Another (better) way to abuse this is with morph creatures that have free/1cc morph/disguise costs, allowing you to flip the face-down Forest into a creature, that can then be sacrificed, bringing it back as a Forest, and repeat.  These creatures are Proteus Machineimage, Temur Chargerimage, Birchlore Rangersimage, Kin-Tree Wardenimage, Branchsnap Lorianimage, and Nervous Gardenerimage.  Since the sacrificed creature comes back as an untapped Forest that's not yet a creature, it can be tapped to pay for the morph cost, allowing an infinite loop of sacrifices to a free outlet, or a 1cc outlet with Proteus Machine and Temur Charger (these are the two most useful sac engine pieces in the deck).  Using a free morph cost creature will provide infinite green mana via a free sac outlet, or it will pay for a reusable 1cc sac outlet.  Next, add in a wincon combo card that either triggers off of creature deaths or land ETBs (or a sac outlet that provides a wincon), and it's either GG this turn, or at a minimum next turn.

In addition to the infinite combo shenanigans, every creature that can self-sacrifice (or is sacrificed on use) for some benefit has high value with Yedora, as they turn into Forests, so the deck is full of creatures that sac to put lands into play, or sac to destroy artifacts or enchantments (one could easily argue that Spore Frogimage should be included, but that's up to you).  Because of these self-sac cards, we include a few options that return lands (face-down creatures) back to our hand, so they can be re-used/re-cast.

A quick note, there are three modal cards that are lands on one side, spells on the other, so there are actually 34 total lands, not 31.

Each of Skullclampimage, Evolutionary Leapimage, Fecundityimage and Gate to the Afterlifeimage are effectively "wincon" combo cards because they will draw you into another proper wincon card.

Using Ashnod's Altarimage (or Phyexian Altar) to sacrifice Ainok Survivalistimage, Nantuko Vigilanteimage, or Den Protectorimage will allow you to use them as many times as you want/need.

Life and Limbimage and Living Landsimage, being enchantments, can be put into play for shenanigans, then if a player casts a board wipe on a later turn, you can use one of your enchantment removal creatures to destroy in response, before the board wipe takes out all your land creatures.  So I wouldn't put either of those into play unless you have a wincon combo ready to go, or one of these enchantment removal creatures in play.  Similarly, Ambush Commanderimage can potentially be sacrificed to a creature sac outlet, in the event that you have both, but do not have the payoff wincon card yet (like Caller of the Clawimage).

Take note that most of the sac outlets, sacrificial creatures, and combo pieces that create an ("infinite") army of small creatures can all be played/used right before your turn begins, limiting the potential of a creature/board wipe, and nullifying the need for haste.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Temur War Shamanimage is effectively a sac outlet for face-down morph creatures, allowing you to take out as many big creatures as you can afford to repetitively morph the creature.  This makes Proteus Machineimage and Temur Chargerimage able to wipe out all the creatures bigger than them, plus generate one green mana each time it's flipped.  The same sac routine can be used with Birchlore Rangersimage, Kin-Tree Wardenimage, and Branchsnap Lorianimage, except you'll have to use the extra mana to flip them, still allowing them to wipe out most/all of your opponent's creatures for free.  Use it with Ainok Survivalistimage or Nantuko Vigilanteimage to clear out both creatures and artifacts and enchantments, at the effective cost of one mana per flip/use.  Temur War Shaman is not quite a wincon, but gets close to it, or can at least be considered a potential free sac outlet to use infinite times in combination with a payoff combo card.
Grafted Wargearimage is a sac outlet, albeit one that gives nothing of any use back, unless Greater Goodimage is in the deck and in play.  But with so few free/1cc reusable sac outlets available for green, this will work when needed.  And being free, it allows for infinite green mana, and is usable in more combos, which makes it better in some ways than, say, Starved Rusalkaimage, as much as I value infinite life and all.
Life Chiselimage would normally be a lame duck card because it can only be used during our upkeep, but in our case that limitation only means we'll have to wait a turn to attack if our combo created an army of small creatures to march into a win.
Natural Affinityimage creates saltiness in this deck... with Yedora in play, a creature wipe will make all your creatures come back as Forests, but casting Natural Affinity will turn opponents' lands into creatures as well, turning it into an opponents-only land wipe, on top of the creature wipe.  At that point, with morph creatures in play as Forests, and tons of mana at your disposal, it's basically GG, and likely a scoop from opponents.
Blasting Stationimage is a wincon with any of the static effect cards like Living Landsimage (i.e. not Natural Affinityimage), but with only three cards in this deck it can combo with, I opted to replace it with Gutter Grimeimage, which will combo with any of the nine cards that allow a Forest to be sacrificed as a creature.
Grothama, All-Devouringimage provides lots of draw when you fight it with multiple attacking creatures, after which Grothama and all those other dying creatures turn into Forests... not a bad secondary use after dying.  Just be sure to stack the fight mechanics so that you're dealing 6-7 damage with smaller creatures before the final big creature finishes it off, maximizing your total card draw.
Ashaya, Soul of the Wildimage is a sneaky-bad card in this deck... it looks awesome at first sight, but it pairs horribly with cards that have a static effect making your Forests into 1/1 creatures, since they will lose their previous P/T and get smaller.  Besides, Yedora has no shortage of lands to source mana from, so Ashaya's second ability has little value anyway.  Albeit, casting something like Living Landsimage should only be done once you're ready to combo out, lest you want to risk a board wipe removing all your lands after a Yedora removal spell.
