Description

Gisa's Graveyard

image

The is my attempted to make a deck around Gisa, Glorious Resurrectorimage since I really like the card but keep cutting it from other decks. The Idea is to stall with Zombies until you can cast her then protect her with Battle-Rage Blessingimage or Valorous Stanceimage especially when you cast a board wipes and gain all you opponent created on your next turn using her ability.

Stalling with Zombies:

You have the basic standard zombie tool kit of Champion of the Perishedimage and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephaliaimage to build up a threat, but also a bait to draw out there removal. Tainted Adversaryimage also add to the threat and late game can be a finisher if kicked. Otherwise they are all just expendable meat shields until Gisa gets set up.

Graveyard Trespasser:

Such a solid card, I had to include it Graveyard Trespasser // Graveyard Glutton adds another distraction to the board as decent attacker/blocker and Removes pesky cards from the graveyard. His Ward cost combos’ with Duressimage mean you opponent might not an answer for this Werewolf when it matters most.

Spells:

Duress helps get rid of heavy threats that honestly this deck has very little to deal with, it was between this and Cutdown in the slot, and while early removal can save some headaches, it kind of goes against the goal of the deck, you want them to have creatures out to later kill while Gisa is on the board.

Battle-Rage Blessingimage or Valorous Stanceimage as mention above to keep Gisa alive and provide some trick with removal, giving death touch to a chump blocker can slow down and opponent hard or just destroying their big creature before it can get to you is pretty solid, and if it comes over to your side of the board because of it, the better.

Path of Perilimage and Vanquish the Hordeimage for when things get out of hand, or when using one of the pre mention spells above to build an army of your opponents creatures to lash out with next turn.

Gisa, Glorious Resurrector:

The goal of the deck, Keep her alive and on the board, but that’s easier said than done. Even with making her indestructible, she can still be bounced and exiled so would love to give her hexproof if possible, but that would require a different direction. With her on the board you have a 4/4 that brings over you enemies dead to your side of the board, which is always a glorious time!
