This Goldspan deck is very straight forward, you get treasures, and you play Goldspan Dragon
. We also have Old Gnawbone
in there as another big boi dragon we can find using Magda, Brazen Outlaw
's ability!
Another thing we are doing in this deck is stealing the opponents creatures with Price of Loyalty
and/or Shackles of Treachery
, swinging in and doing damage, and then sacrificing them with either Skullport Merchant
, Deadly Dispute
, or Village Rights.
We have Kalain, Reclusive Painter
in this deck as a good way to make our Goldspan Dragon or Old Gnawbone bigger so we can hit for more damage! Xorn
also made the list since making more treasures is extremely beneficial.
Lastly we have our own small creatures than can be easily sacrificed such as Eyetwitch
, Shambling Ghast
, and Plundering Barbarian
. This allows us to still get value from our "sacrifice and draw" cards even if we don't have treasures or steal the opponent's creatures.
This deck is great in principle, and idea, but it simply did not perform well. I need help to see what could make it better, as I think it has potential, just not much effectiveness as of now. I think maybe Lolth, Spider Queen
can be considered in the deck since we are always sacrificing creatures, and it buys time if the opponent has flyers and we don't.
