Competitive Meta
By: andreliverod - 17 Apr 2020

It is no secret that the decks that perform well early in a new set cycle are the same good old decks from the last set. Monored is still dominating, control decks are still performing well. If you want the best performers, take a look at the metagame page. We will post the decklists for the top performers at the end of this article. But first, let us have a look at 4 new Ikoria decks in Standard and Traditional Standard that has performed well.

With MTGA Assistant we are constantly receiving new top-performing decks, and here are the ones using some new Ikoria cards, the first one is a Companion deck using Kaheera, the Orphanguardimage!

The limitation of this commander is not very strict as it tells you to only use Cats, Elementals, Nightmares, Dinosaurs or Beasts.Meaning you can play all of the good elementals and the ever so popular Hydriod Krasis.
